Prince said, “This is a huge drive-in, and that’s enabled us to slash admission prices for fans and have a much bigger party in the city known for its parties.” Guests and film choices will be announced all through the summer, but anyone who purchases their tickets before June 22 will receive an early-bird discount. Prince said she figured it was time to bring the party further west to “kick things up a notch”, and the festival will be at the West Wind Las Vegas Drive-In.

This year’s move to Vegas was initiated by Executive Director, Diana Prince, who fans know as “Darcy the Mail Girl.” Prince works alongside Joe Bob on Shudder series The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs. As conceived by Joe Bob in 2021, the first two years of the festival were held at the Mahoning Drive-In in Leighton, Pennsylvania and the Malco Summer Drive-In in Memphis. This year, the Jamboree is moving to Las Vegas, bringing with it three days of jamboree-ing.

The Christian Science Monitor noted that "Eaglesmith integrates poetic sensitivity with his daredevil imagery, producing an original vision." The Kingston Whig-Standard listed it as the sixth best album of 1996. The Calgary Herald wrote that "Eaglesmith's music is hypnotic in its sparse acoustic tones and though he's prone to a bit too much imagery concerning crashin' 'n' burnin' 'n' trains he's also got a knack for turning a phrase." Eaglesmith took a casual attitude in the studio, stating that the album was merely a reflection of how he felt at the time of the recording.
